Another day, another green smoothie. The 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge from Simple Green Smoothies is changing my life already! For one thing, I had no idea you could freeze spinach…
For another, I’m experiencing more energy and an overall lighter feeling. Like a lean green kale-chugging machine.
And best yet – my sugar cravings have disappeared. #forthewin
If you haven’t jumped on this bandwagon yet, you really should. SGS will send you shopping lists, recipes, substitution ideas – the works!
I’m documenting my journey on Instagram and am LOVING the online community I’ve found! Follow me and share your green smoothie with #feelinsmoothie. I’d love to meet you!
I wasn’t sure I’d like the kale AND spinach, no sirr-ee. But this smoothie surprised me! It’s a nice balance with the mango and pineapple.
I’ve got my hubby on the green smoothie train for good! At first he turned up his nose, especially at the color. But by Day 5 he’s looking forward to his afternoon snack in a glass. Helps that they’re so darn tasty.
I’m sure this recipe is deeee-lish. But… I forgot to buy pears at the market! When I take into account SGS’s advice to modify as we see fit, plus my new raspberry addiction, this became a PEACHY RAZZLE DAZZLE!
I can’t eat all this kale fast enough! (maybe if I ate less raspberries?) So I tried that little trick of packing it into the freezer with my berries and fruits. Turns out this is one of those tips that actually works!!! #PinterestWins
Green smoothies to the rescue again! I missed my morning snack and found myself facing lunchtime with a bad case of the grumps. Too hungry to even make food! These smoothies are so simple, so easy, and so fast. In less than three minutes I had a Tropi-Kale in my hand and soon was perky enough to make a nice stir-fry for lunch!
Sometimes misreading the directions can be the best part of your day. I read “coconut milk” instead of “coconut water” and ohhhh baby, was this decadent! Best of all, I make a practice to always buy light coconut milk – just as creamy with half the calories!
After reading Jen & Jadah’s blog post about adding herbs to smoothies, I strolled out to the garden and voila! popped a handful of fresh parsley into today’s smoothie.Fresh, clean taste with detox bonus points!
Can’t wait to see your glowing gorgeous faces on Instagram and everywhere!
PS: I get absolutely no monetary benefits for declaring the awesomeness of Simple Green Smoothies or their programs. I just really love glowing with health.
