Have you jumped on the Simple Green Smoothies bandwagon yet?
I signed up for their April 30- Day Green Smoothie Challenge and couldn’t be more excited! They’re sending me green smoothie recipes for every week, along with shopping lists, substitution ideas, and solemn promises that this will revolutionize my mornings. #canthurt
I’ve been traveling most of last week, but my assistant texted me the shopping list and assured me it was a VERY easy start to the challenge. Sure enough, I already had most of the items at home! One quick trip to the store and I had everything I’d need to get glowing.
Day One – Simple Peach Smoothie
My Review: It’s Friday afternoon and I still haven’t made my smoothie. Ack! I’m a smoothie slacker! At this point I’m tired and hangry… maybe a green smoothie will perk me up while I cook dinner?
3 sips in and I’m already feeling better. Whoa, baby! 10 minutes later that smoothie is gone and I’m turning up the tunes for a Friday night dance party in the kitchen!
Day Two – Tropical Crush Smoothie
My Review: Okay, this smoothie looks nice and friendly. Like a tropical island on my kitchen counter! I took it with me for a refreshing walk on this beautiful Spring day and was inspired to take my very first Insta-selfie. Green smoothies, who are you turning me into??
Day Three – Orange Julius Smoothie
My Review: They want me to put in 3 whole oranges?? Really??? Hm. Here goes nothing…
Oh. Oh yessss! So light & fresh – I was sure it would be overpowering but this is super deliciousness! Gets me thinking about ways to improvise… what if I added almond milk? Yogurt? #smoothieallthethings
There’s still time to join the challenge! Sign up at simplegreensmoothies.com and they’ll send you wonderful emails full of tips, tricks, & recipes!
I’m documenting my smoothie journey on Instagram and I’d love it if you joined me! Post a picture of your smoothie with the hashtag #feelinsmoothie and we’ll have a veggie dance party!
PS: I get absolutely no monetary benefits for declaring the awesomeness of Simple Green Smoothies or their programs. I just really love smoothies.
